"Light in nature creates the movement of colors." ~ Robert Delaunay
The Southampton home of swimwear designer Lilly Maddock is a bright, cheery haven.. You could never be down in this preppy, Palm Beach style abode. It is open and flooded with light. The pink and lime green combination of the kitchen remind me of a Lilly Pulitzer summer dress.
The house was designed by the ultra chic Celerie Kemble and Anna Burke. This unique chandelier from Canopy Designs is amazing. I would have this in my kitchen in a second! I love the organic texture that brings a bit of the outdoors in. The mossy chandelier and hand painted striped walls all work to create the perfect carefree summer home.
The master bedroom is enveloped in celery green grasscloth and dramatic canopy. I love the crisp striped and Greek Key bedding. It creates a plush, welcoming refuge. The bed is Oscar de la Renta and the awesome artichoke lamps are from Stray Dog Designs.
Ahhh.....this room is my very favorite! I love everything about it. I have a weakness for grasscloth as it is. However, colored or patterned grasscloth leaves me weak in the knees. The use of brown grounds the bright raspberry and makes it so sophisticated. The sofa and ottoman were custom made. The use of coral and shells have been used frequently throughout the home to remind Lily and husband Locke of their Miami roots.
What girl doesn't love a large closet?! The floral wallpaper make it a pretty feminine retreat. I love this photo because it reminds me of my own girls. They love getting into my closet and trying on heels and jewelry. We have spent hours in my closet watching their "fashion shows".
I hope you are having a spectacular week!

I have a Lilly Pulitzer dress that would go fabulous with her house!! Love the Palm Beach feel and Palm Beach ;)
ReplyDeleteI love Lily Pulitzer! This is their summer home. I think the bright colors would be great short term, however, it might get old if you had to live with it everyday.
DeleteWhat a fun colorful space! I'm addicted to her stuff.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Jill. Color just seems to lift your spirits!
