Out & About // Shopping in West Palm Beach

"Don't buy a bedroom suite, but collect your pieces separately - generally cheaper and always the decorator's way of furnishing."  ~ Dorothy Draper

As promised, here are the photos from my shopping venture in West Palm Beach.  The furniture and decor in these shops was breathtaking.  I honestly did not know where to look first!  My first stop was Palm Beach Regency where I was met with piles of vintage goodness.  I knew walking in that I had little to no room in our car, so it kept me in check.  Lucky for us, they have a great website that is updated frequently!

This table and chairs were my absolute favorite pieces in the store. Look at the amazing detail of the elephant's head! The leather on the chairs was so soft and supple.  I could park my tail in those chairs and play Uno for hours.

Of course, the sunburst clock would be a temptation.  I really need to seek out  help for this addiction.

My next stop was Excentricities where I met the lovely Shelley.  She was so sweet and  tolerant of my constant picture snapping of her store, not to mention powder room.  The yellow zebra Scalamandre wallpaper really does make a statement! It instantly adds personality to ANY room. ;-)

They also have a fabulous website loaded with beautiful pieces, as well as four locations.  Excentricities has a cool, classy beach vibe with many different styles of furniture and accessories.  I was tempted by this adorable zebra stool for our hearth.  It is so simple and chic.  I only walked away because I know I will throw a leopard "something" in that room and we can't have dueling animal prints.  That is just plain tacky!

I thought this beautiful table would be a great card table to use in a game room. Paired with four leather upholstered Louis chairs would be perfect.

Aren't these chairs super cool?!  My mind was racing trying to think of where I could put them in my own home.  They would be amazing in a covered patio.  The are small but the shape is lovely.

So, if you ever find yourself looking to spend money in West Palm Beach, you have to stop by the shops on Antique Row.  You will not leave empty handed - I promise!

Have the best day ever!
