Feeling Under The Weather?

"My idea of Christmas whether old-fashioned or modern is very simple - loving others."
 ~ Bob Hope

This holiday season, in particular, has seemed extra busy. Thanksgiving around here was a chaotic whirlwind.  As soon as the dinner plates were cleared, I was already thinking of my Christmas to-do list. While this is my absolute favorite holiday, all the hustling and bustling has left me feeling utterly exhausted.  If you feel the same, take a day on the sofa to relax and regroup with your favorite sources of comfort.

This Hermes throw is definitely on my ultimate wish list.  I love the classic logo but in this unexpected pop of fresh, feminine colors.  Being under the weather snuggled up with this lovely wouldn't be so bad.

Kate Spade is a genius at creating cute products with charming quips.  This happy mug reminds me of my girls because they would "have cake for breakfast" every day.

Peonies are my absolute favorite flower.  As I have mentioned before, they take me back to summer days spent at my Grandma's house.  I picked up a bouquet at Whole Foods yesterday. Having these springtime beauties in my house in December is quite the treat.  They make me smile whenever I pass by.

I could live in men's style pajamas.  They are comfortable, modest and vintage.  Andrew bought me this monogrammed pair last year for my birthday.  Recently, I have been stalking the Marigot sleepwear available on Waiting On Martha. The only problem is there are too many adorable choices!  Elephant....zebra....elephant...or zebra?!

Listen, if you have to blow your nose you might as well do it in style.  This burl wood tissue box is the chicest thing I have seen in a while.  I love when basic household items are taken to a higher level and made special.

Meg Ryan is the queen of the romantic comedy.  She is so perfectly likable.  I really wish she would come back to acting.  There is no one quite like her.  Nonetheless, I have all her movies and plan on watching this gem today while kicking back.  Meg Ryan, Kevin Kline and France - it sounds like a winning trifecta to me!

Have the best day ever!
