"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty."  ~ Maya Angelou

If you celebrated Christmas, I hope it was a relaxing time filled to the brim with love and laughter. The girls always wake mind numbingly early on Christmas morning to see what goodies Santa left. This year was no exception.  We opened gifts and I made a yummy breakfast of sausage frittata and croissants.  We then proceeded to breathe and take up space.  I mean we...did...nothing.  It was so lovely to have no list, no responsibilities or deadlines.

Tomorrow, I will slowly begin the chore of putting all the holiday sparkle away.  While I am a bit sad to see this season come to a close, I find that the process of taking everything down gives me a sense of renewal and fresh inspiration.  I see my home with new eyes and a head full of ideas for the coming year.

Speaking of renewal, I have begun my list of business growth changes I hope to achieve in the coming year. I am so excited to begin that I may bust!  My birthday is December 31st and I love that I get to celebrate my time on Earth on the last day of the year - almost like the close of a chapter.  I awake on January 1st, another year older and ready to take on the world and be a better person than I was the year before.  Have you started your list of goals for 2014 yet?

Have the best day ever!
