Happy Weekend!

"I never look back darling, it distracts me from the now."  ~ Edna Mode

Hello, friends.  Do you have any exciting plans for this weekend?  I don't have anything specific planned which is fine by me.  Two days to linger on the patio with a cocktail and good book sounds perfect.

I recently stumbled across this amazing Austin-based company that makes the most delicate jewelry.  It was difficult to choose just one piece to purchase.  They are perfectly simple for every day wear yet edgy enough for evening.  I finally decided on this sweet little beauty.  You are welcome.

I am always looking for new organization|cleaning ideas.  Max Kater's tips for spring cleaning were exactly what I needed.  It is such a daunting task.  I am up for anything that can make it easier. P.S. Those metal faux bamboo chairs are beyond.

As I have mentioned before, I am finishing the living room.  I have narrowed down my lust for mid-century design to two Milo Baughman swivel chairs. I have been stalking 1stdibs and eBay daily with little luck but a ton of patience.  I did, however, just purchase this beautiful book to a) feed my book and chair addiction and b) expose me to more gorgeous design making my hunt that much more difficult.

I purchased one of these for the bedroom office area yesterday.  I think it will add some drama to the space. It is certainly beautiful and I LOVE all things zebra, however, I am not sure how I will feel walking on a cowhide.  The idea creeps me out.

Nothing celebrates the warmer temps and long, lingering days like a refreshing cocktail and  nothing is as refreshing than a cocktail with fresh cucumber.  Yum!  I can't wait to have the girls over and try this delicious {and dangerous} springtime elixir.

Have the best weekend ever!

Lisa
