Monday Style || Geometric Flair

"I paint with shapes."  ~ Alexander Calder

You wouldn't find me anywhere near a geometry class in school, but give me a textile with a bit of a prism, a hint of hexagon or kubus and I am all tingly inside.

I fell hard for this Pierre Frey fabric some time ago.  I was thinking something along the lines of a throw pillow since we have three children to put through college.  It is still on my lengthy home wish list.

Then came this space of Parisian perfection a couple years ago.  I am still obsessing over the architectural moldings, sculptural furnishings and, of course, the Kubus fabric used throughout. In a word...stunning.

My obsession has now expanded to art, home decor and fashion.  I have had this pencil skirt in my cart for weeks now. I already own the swimsuit in this exact pattern but I justify my crazy thoughts with the reasoning that the skirt would be a fall|winter piece.  Isn't it fabulous?!  It would be amazing with a simple white button down, multi-chain necklace and black pumps.  Oh, okay. You've talked me into it!

Have a beautiful day!
