Parisian Glam Pad

The urge for good design is the same as the urge to go on living.
Harry Bertoa

I am not normally drawn to bold tones like eggplant and orange.  However, the home of architect|designer, Sig Bergamin and architect Murilo Lomas caught my eye. The Parisian apartment is glamorous, masculine and eclectic.  Sig explains they only visit the home in cooler months, so they wanted to create a space that is comfy yet refined.  What drew me in wasn't the color palette, but the interesting mix of textures, patterns and sparkle. The spectacular combination of mid century modern, French antiques and unexpected art always, always makes me weak.  Take a look at the goodness for yourself.

My favorite corner of the apartment is this 1970's brass console with tons of nudes hanging above.  Can it get any better?

My dream Platner armchairs paired with these orange Pierre Paulin chairs are majorly cool.

Sig used mirrors throughout to expand the small space.

Adventurous art chillin' with a traditional 1940's desk.

Have a beautiful day,
