Thanksgiving Tablescape

Gratitude turns what we have into enough.
Melody Beattie

Man, I love the look of a dressed table.  Last year, around this time I talked about wanting to create a beautiful tablescape for our Thanksgiving holiday.  However, 20ish guests + numerous tables = $$$, so sadly, it didn't happen.  We are on our own this year, so I thought I would decorate our kitchen table just for the everyday using things I have and a tiny bit of money.

I used the ^^ photo as inspiration.  The simplicity and organic elements really appealed to me.  I used a burlap runner I already had, but you can purchase this one for next to nothing.  I purchased various tiny pumpkins at the grocery and painted them with my favorite gold spray paint. Then I layered different shades of magnolia leaves as my base and tucked in my pumpkins, several hurricanes and several small glasses filled with white hydrangeas because they are so abundant at the florist.  Wham Bam! There you go.  A quick, easy and most importantly inexpensive table setting for Thanksgiving.

Here are more simple yet elegant tablescape inspirations for your holiday.
