Instagram Holidays

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, plus a social media overreaction.
Someone

Years ago, Facebook served as my training wheels into the world of social media.  I have long since shed those wheels and upgraded to the simple, beautiful pleasures of Instagram. IG is my jam because it provides a quick shot of inspiration that is easy to squeeze in between blogging, designing, errands and being the most awesome mom/wife there is. ;)  I especially love when others share their favorite accounts with me, so I am doing the same for you.  I have way too many favorites to name but these are the top five superstars that have my holiday attention.

All of Patrick's photos look as if they came from a magazine.  It is no surprise that he won the CFDA's Fashion Instagrammer of the Year award.  I have especially loved his winter wonderland photos of late.

I am a sucker for the well-styled photo.  I appreciate the time it takes to make these pics look amazing.  Sara has a true talent for this.  She can even make a plate of Christmas cookies look like delicious art.

I love Becky's casual chic style and can't get enough of her sweet baby, Sutton.  Her photos are bright pics are always lovely.  Adding a precious, chubby baby just puts them over the top!

Of course, Eddie Ross would be on my list.  I love him because 1) he shares the same name as my Dad 2) his fun sense of humor comes through in his photos and 3) no one (next to Martha) does the holiday scene better.  He and Jaithan are decorating this week and I can't wait to see what they come up with!

Julia's photos are crisp and colorful - each one filled with happiness.  She also has a fantastic habit of mixing patterns which I am so down with.  Stripes and plaid?  Definitely. Her festive pics have me humming Christmas carols...ok, badly but it's my spirit that counts, right?

Have a festive day!
Lisa

  1. IG is my jam as well and Patrick's picture is off the hook! Oh, and anything wrapped in a Nordstrom box is thumbs up in my opinion ;)
