View From Above

An interior designer must be able to clarify his intent keeping ever in mind that decorating is not a look, it's a point of view.

Wouldn't it be a dream to wake each morning high above Central Park taking in the changing seasons?  This dream actually belongs to Kara and Stephen Ross.  Their chic penthouse is perched above the park like a glamorous tree house.  My design style varies but my go-to is what I call 'sophisticated ease' meaning the space has good bones filled with unique pieces and art.  Feast your eyes...

Would you care for a croissant with your view?  Yes, please.
An airy bedroom with a neutral palette create a calming retreat.  Get a load out of the magnificently unique bench!
This 1920's French lacquer cocktail table has me thinking I need a round table in my life.
I could move into this room and never change a thing.  So fine!

Have a magical day,

  1. There's nothing better than a neutral palette and I can't wait to dig into my new AD magazine. TGIF!
